Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you! 

We are looking for a Knowledge & Information Management Advisor to provide document management and control services with a defined governance structure that enables controls, processes and systems associated with Knowledge Management specifically in the areas of Document Management and Control, Content Management, Knowledge Share and Collaboration. 

The Role: 

  • Responsible for capture, issuance, distribution, accessibility, control, and disposal of PACE’S Client documentation / information as required 
  • Responsible for ensuring that the document management system contains the latest version of such documents (e.g., P&ID, PFD, Drawings, Reports). 
  • Liaise with internal and external contractors document controllers, and other stakeholders, to ensure that the integrity of information has consistent principles applied with the classification, identification, dissemination, and disposition of information 
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with PACE’S CLIENT approved procedures and regulatory requirements (global and/or regional) 
  • Prepares reports on key metrics to internal stakeholders regarding service delivery 
  • Participate in knowledge management collaborative forums within the business and across PACE’S Client to promote and enhance the adoption of best practices in Knowledge Management specifically in the areas of defining new processes, systems use landscape, on-boarding, and document management 
  • Provides ongoing guidance, support, and training in Knowledge Management best practices in accordance with specific standards of practice, specifically in the areas of Document Management and Control, Content Management, Knowledge Share and Collaboration 

Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will have: 

  • Experience in project controls and or document controls in mining industry. (3-5 years) 
  • Experience in a Project Management role 
  • PMP certificate preferred 
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) 
  • Primavera P6 intermediate experience an asset 
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, math, engineering or business-related discipline or other combination of education and experience will be considered
